International experts and executives from the print media industry will be meeting from August 31st to September 5th, 2008 in Cancun, Mexico.
The Print Media Academy (PMA) belonging to Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG invites you to the ninth Summer University. The event will be taking place in Mexico for the first time. The four-day intensive seminar in Cancun is geared towards participants from Central and South America as well as North America, but is also open to those from other regions.
“The pressure to compete and changing market dynamics are continuing to increase. Managers in the print media industry need to be up to date on current trends in the industry and new methods of corporate management,” says Bernd Schopp, Head of the Print Media Academy. That’s why the seminar will be focusing on aspects of business management in particular.
Experts from Heidelberg and internationally renowned lecturers will be presenting innovative marketing approaches and explaining modern management strategies for increasing productivity. Further presentations and discussions will spark new ideas within the areas of finance, controlling and personnel management. In addition, participants will hear a bit about the highlights at the drupa 2008 and the “estro” program, the lean printing concept for print shops. In addition, they will have the chance to discuss their own experiences with experts and receive individual coaching.
The Summer University has established itself within the print media industry as an important international forum. Executives from all over the world use the opportunity to exchange country-specific experiences and network in an informal atmosphere. The Summer University in Cancun will once again be rounded off with an attractive social program, including an evening event.
The event location is the Fiesta Americana Grand Coral Beach Hotel. Cost is 2,600 euros. Included in the price are four overnight stays, in addition to seminar lunch and drinks, as well as all seminar materials. Number of participants is limited. Early registration is recommended. Seminar languages are English and Spanish; simultaneous translation into Spanish will be available.
