Saphira Wash Up & Go
With the Saphira® Wash Up & Go cleaning system, the need for aggressive solvents to remove hardened ink deposits from the wash up tray is eliminated. This traditionally difficult and unpleasant task has now been transformed with no need for strong solvents with their attended risks to both operator and the environment. Extensive use of the system both within Heidelberg and among customers around the world has shown the Wash Up & Go system to dramatically reduce wash up times. Saphira Bio Press Wash
Standard Press Wash products are major contributors to VOCs in the pressroom. Like all Saphira press washes, Heidelberg Bio Press Wash is formulated to meet real-world pressroom requirements, and blended to meet strict performance, health and safety benchmarks set by FOGRA. They also are less susceptible to fire and health hazards than washes with lower flashpoints, and will not damage press components.
 
Saphira Bio Ink
Developed specifically for use in sheetfed offset presses, Saphira Bio Ink meets the demanding requirements of today's environmentally responsible printer. Saphira Bio Ink also contains a high percentage of bio-derived, renewable raw materials, and delivers robust performance across a broad range of running conditions. Finally, like all Saphira inks, Saphira Bio Ink can be supplied with ICC profiles to help printers achieve the best proof-to-print color match.
 
Wash Star
Specifically developed for brush-type wash-up systems, WashStar collects and filters wash-up solution from the blanket (Speedmaster SM 102 and CD 102) and impression cylinder wash-up devices (only Speedmaster CD 102) and re-uses it for rinsing the collecting troughs.

WashStar + EcoClean
EcoClean is a filtration and reprocessing system that helps to recycle up to 90 percent of the used cleaning agent. It works only together with WashStar and requires special chemistry.
 
Blanket wash-up device
On the Speedmaster XL presses, a dry-cloth based wash-up device is used. Cleaning solution and water are sprayed on only when needed - and the amount can be programmed.
 
Impression cylinder wash-up device
On the Speedmaster XL presses, a dry-cloth based wash-up device is used - similar to the blanket wash-up device. Cleaning solution and water are sprayed on only when needed - and the amount can be programmed.
 
Inking Unit wash-up device
The automatic inking unit wash-up device for Speedmaster XL presses minimized the use of cleaning agents.
