Ace Lithographers Improves Quality with Press, Workflow Solutions from Heidelberg
Ace Lithographers, based in East Hanover, N.J., recently installed a six-color Speedmaster SM 52 press with perfector and coater from Heidelberg to replace a five-color press. The shop also added Prinect Axis Control to increase productivity through accurate color measurement. Since the installations, the shop reports faster turnaround and improved quality due to the additional color and coating units on the press. Ace Lithographers uses the new equipment to print six-color jobs on a variety of paper stocks, including cover weights and magnet paper. The all-Heidelberg shop also uses Heidelberg consumables products, including Perfect Dot blankets and Saphira Violet plates and chemistry. Founded in 1973, Ace Lithographers is a family-owned and operated general commercial printer.
