POLAR 78

The high-speed cutter for four-up formats, which cuts almost any kind of material in size DIN A 2. Therefore, the POLAR 78 is employed in many different industries. It cuts material up to a cutting width of 78 cm fast and safely: Paper, cardstock, paperboard, plastic foil. It is easy to handle, rapidly re-equipped and highly efficient even when working with large quantities. Even reams with diagonals above 78 cm (i. e. a max. sheet length of 78 cm) can be turned on the front table. The POLAR 78 can be combined with peripheral equipments (stack lift, automatic jogger) to ease the workload and increase the quality. The POLAR 78 is available in two different versions: The programmable basic model POLAR 78 XS is fitted with all of the major functions for a semi-automated workflow. The top-of-the-line model POLAR 78 XT works with a Touch screen. Reduced set-up times, fast and easy knife change OptiKnife assisted by operator guidance, and automatic stop at dead center are some of the advantages provided by this series. The POLAR 78 X and XT are suitable for networking with Compucut and Data Control.
