Prinect Image Control is a color measuring system for monitoring quality outside the press. It is the only system in the world to measure the entire printed image using spectrophotometry. Measuring the image after the "okay" sheet is determined is a highly accurate way to ensure consistent production not only from sheet to sheet, but also for common areas within the printed area of the sheet. Prinect Image Control determines the deviations from the established reference values and automatically sends the follow-up information to the Prinect CP2000, advising the operator which, if any adjustments are needed. These adjustments are approved and sent online to the press, which then regulates the ink zones in all the printing units simultaneously.
